WELCOME TEAMS
Responsibility - maintain a friendly, orderly & safe environment at every
Carolina Chapel event, so everyody feels welcome.
HOSTS - prepare & set out food, tables & decorate the lobby,
bathrooms, classes & group environments.
GREETERS - welcome guests at the front door, in the lobby, and at Kids Check-in.
USHERS - assist with seating, receive the offering, admister communion
& secure children's areas.
PACKET PREP - put together service guides & print materials
SET UP - arrive early to all events to help set up our portable church equipment.
TAKE DOWN - stay after services & events to help pack & put away the
portable church equipment.
WORSHIP TEAM
Responsibility - plays & sing live, contemporary, worship music at every service.
BAND - acoustic guitar, bass, electric guitar, keys, etc ....
SINGERS - alto, tenor, soprano singers carry melody & harmony as
background & lead vocals.

PRODUCTION TEAMS
Responsibility - enhance everything through technical & creative arts.
VIDEO - film & edit short message illustrations, promos, trailers, teasers,
documentaries & announcements.
PODCAST - edit & upload Carolina Chapel audio & video podcasts.
PROPS / SCENIC DESIGN - set construction, light design, stage props for every area.
WEBSITE - design & update our presence on the web through blogs,
social networking & our home page.
GRAPHICS - graphic branding & print design for everything from message series
to ministry teams.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY TEAMS
Responsibility - present Biblical Truth to our kids in fun, safe & engaging environments where kids can't wait to come to church every Sunday.
*anybody who works with children must pass a background check.
0-18 months Helper - rock, play with, hug, hold & change the
littlest members of Carolina Chapel.
Pre-School Lead Teacher - using a set curriculum, present Bible Stories, craft, snack,
music & games to a group of 3 to 5 year olds.
1st - 5th Grade Lead Presenter - lead a pre-set, multi-media, curriculum including
video, games, karaoke music, & small group time for 1st to 5th Grades.
HELPER - assist the Lead Presenters or Lead Teacher in caring for and engaging in
Children's Church activities: craft, snack, or play time.
ON CALL HELPER - be available to help in children's church if we have an
unexpectedly high number of kids that Sunday.
STUDENTS - help during Students Parties, Bible Study, or Youth Group Meetings of
6th through 12th Graders.
CAROLINA CARES TEAMS
Responsibility - demonstrate Christ's love through acts of service.
COMMUNITY SERVICE - community group projects to - yardwork, clean-up,
home repairs, feeding the hungry, building wheelchair ramps for elderly disabled.
VISITATION - going to see those who are sick, in nursing homes, shut-in,
in prison, or hospitals.
PRAYER - praying with and for those in need.
MEALS - cooking meals or snacks for those in need.
BENEVOLENCE - caring for the elderly, disabled, poor & needy by donations of
clothing, food, supplies & financial aid.
PRESENTATION TEAMS
Responsibilities - .
MEDIA PRESENTERS - display song lyrics, message notes, videos & graphics for services
& meetings using ProPresenter software on our iMac & macbook pro.
SOUND - live reinforcement & audio capture for all services & events.
PROPS / LIGHTS - move props on & off stage as well as running light scene changes.
CAMERAS - document Carolina Chapel events & services using still & DV cameras.
